Rosie Ruddock.

Rosie is inspired by the shifting colours and organic textures of the wild waters in which she swims.

A ceramic artist who specialises in creating elegant wheel-thrown tableware using porcelain and stoneware clay. These materials provide a clean, refined surface for her signature green and blue glazes, which reflect the fluid, earthy palette of her favourite swimming ponds and seas

With a background in corporate event management, Rosie began her pottery journey eight years ago after joining a weekly class at Romilly Graham's studio in Stroud Green. She fell in love with the craft immediately and is now a full-time pottery teacher and maker.

Rosie has been teaching wheel-throwing for the past three years, guiding numerous students from complete beginners to confident, skilled makers. Her calm and clear teaching style, combined with a genuine enthusiasm for the craft, creates a supportive and engaging learning environment - offering students not only a new skill, but also a welcome escape from the demands of daily life.

A strong advocate for the therapeutic benefits of working with clay, Rosie believes in the value of creative expression for everyone. She offers private one-to-one tuition, small group sessions, and engaging taster workshops for up to eight participants.
